Ilchi Lee led the inaugural training program called the Energy Circulation School, held in Otsu, Japan, September 30-October 1, 2007.
The school is a high-level program combining a lectures on energy circulation, Dahn-mu (energy movment) traning (including his demonstration of Dahn-mu), meditation (on a ship), and energy-circulation (Unki) training. For this one-night/two-day course in Otsu, 51 people registered.
Recently Ilchi Lee has been emphasizing that the key to training is communicating the power of Cosmic Energy (Chunjikiun in Korean) for generating greater health, happiness and peace. In his lecture, he said that everything is to be found in Dahn-mu, and that Dahn-mu is a process of learning how to get in touch with the Cosmic Energy in the body. Jangsaeng (Longevity) Walking is also a form of Dahn-mu, performed while walking around. He described the three stages of doing Dahn-mu: Jung-choong (Physical) Dahn-mu, Kijang (Energy) Dahn-mu, and Shinmyeong (Spiritual) Dahn-mu.
Ilchi Lee explained these nine specific effects of Dahn-mu on us:
- We develop physical strength.
- We become more proactive and passionate.
- We become freer and develop good blood circulation.
- We sweat, and develop autonomic control and stability.
- Our brain release stress and become more versatile, and our heart overflow with love.
- We increase our creativity.
- We feel genuine happiness and peace.
- We want to share love with others.
- We feel that we have communed with Heaven (divinity).
According to observers of Ilchi Lee’s Dahn-mu demonstration to music, his entire body exuded Cosmic Energy, energetically emanating from his toes and fingertips. In watching his Dahn-mu, the observers called it an inspiring experience that opened their heart.
Ilchi Lee gave a lecture about and led a demonstration of the Jangsaeng (Longevity) Walking Method for 160 persons in Nara, Japan, October 5, 2007.
Nara is an ancient capital of Japan; its quaint and beautiful parks, temples and streets make it an ideal place for people to practice Jangsaeng Walking. The audience received this new walking method with great enthusiasm.
Jangsaeng Walking is a simple yet highly beneficial way of walking, whether around the house or around the neighborhood. It involves an enhanced awareness of body angle, pelvic tilt, breath, and other body mechanics. In particular, one should walk with a firm sense of the weight distributing to the balls and toes of the foot. According to Oriental Medicine, this area contains the Yong-chon acupressure point, which is the start of meridian (energy channel) for the kidney. Kidney health relates to the speed and intensity of the aging process. Jangsaeng Walking helps to strengthen calf muscles, which put gentle pressure on the Yong-chon point. In Oriental health theory, flowing kidney energy contributes to keep us young and healthy. Jangsaeng Walking activates the power of your minds’ awareness, which has a strong influence on the body and brain.
Ilchi Lee described the nature of energy in the body and led exercises so the audience could experience the energy, in Shizuoka, Japan, September 16, 2007.
The expansive green-tea fields and towering Mount Fuji dominate the scenery of Shizuoka, which in Japanese means Quiet Hills. While no Dahn Centers exist in this area, the attendance and audience reaction bode well for opening centers in the future.
Participants from Shizuoka experienced Ilchi Lee’s Ji-gam training, feeling the energy in and around our bodies, with its calming influence for meditation. For many of them, it was first time to do Ji-gam.
Ilchi Lee gave the lecture to the audience to celebrate the new Japanese book of Know Your Brain, Change Your Life.
Ilchi Lee spoke on the issues of global peace and Brain Education to a public lecture program in Nagoya, Japan, September 15, 2007.
This topic is one that the audience wanted to hear about and so it received their full attention.
To customize his lecture to the unique situation of each city’s audience, Ilchi lee began with a session explaining Brain Education and then listening to the sharing of members whose lives have changed as a result of Brain Education.
Ilchi Lee began by describing his meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Ban, Ki-moon, saying that the biggest problems facing the world today are global warming, war and hunger. he emphasized that the source of all these problems is in the human brain. He affirmed that brain and global management must be well performed in order to overcome these problems.
Ilchi Lee went on describe in detail the Three Principles of BOS, which comprise a method of managing the brain. This resulted in an enthusiastic response from the audience for this fun explanation that combines brain science and Brain Education.
As the participants experienced music and Ji-gam traning to open the heart, and the Jangsaeng Walking Method, they were able to understand with their bodies what utilizing the brain really means. These participants were invited to join in the 21-Day Miracle Creation Training. Their response was very positive.
The lecture gave Ilchi Lee and the audience to celebrate the new Japanese translation of Human Technology, publishing in May 2007.
